How One Child is Combating Coronavirus Isolation

Children recently learned they will no longer be returning to school. At first for a few weeks, then a month and a half, maybe even the rest of the school year. This is a critical time of development and learning. Not to mention, social interaction with other kids and guidance from their teachers.

At first, there is the initial joy of no school. That quickly fades as they realize they are suppose to stay inside, not have play dates and not be able to go out to restaurants or parks.

It’s a very confusing time for a child and will get harder as time goes on. In a hard time, here’s a short poem and video about going through Coronavirus isolation as a child.

Taylor Swift Drops Three New Videos. More Album Clues?!

Taylor Swift surprised fans with three new videos today, and let’s just say she did not disappoint. The videos she released today are the vertical video for “ME!” that plays exclusively on Spotify, the lyric video for “ME!” and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the beginning of the “ME!” video where Swift and Brendon Urie are speaking French.

The surprise videos started rolling in last night when Swift dropped the vertical video for “ME!” late last night showing footage of her and Urie practicing for the Billboard Music Awards and the world premiere performance of “ME!”, which will open the show tonight at 8 pm EST on NBC. Check out the video on Spotify to get an early glimpse of the performance. It sure looks like it is going to be a colorful performance. According to Access Hollywood, this could be one of biggest performances EVER!!

The vertical video for “ME!” featuring rehearsal footage for the #BBMAs

The second surprise video of the day was behind-the-scenes footage at the making of the official “ME!” video. This video gave fans an inside look at Swift and Urie at the beginning of the video when they are speaking French. It’s hard to say what happened more: Swift practicing French or laughing. Swift posted the video with the caption: “Ah, French…the language of love.” Many fans think this could be another clue about a second single or album name since Swift has already since the French at the beginning of the video is significant in someway. You may even see two cute felines that put the “ME!” in ME-ow!

Fans have been practicing their French accents and the proper pronunciation of “Je Suis Calme.” Practice up, Swifties, this is the new 1, 2, 3, Let’s go B…. of this era.

The final video Swift released today was the lyric video for “ME!” and it is s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g. The colors used bring in a lot of the colors and themes that have been used throughout this new TS7 era so far. Side note: Will we ever get to stop calling it that? Check out Swift’s tweet announcing the video below!

Swift is totally right when she mentions GLITTER because there is plenty of it in the video, plus her hand-written lyrics. And doodles, plenty of doodles! One fan even pointed how how Swift draws a cat at one point, putting a ME in the whiskers!

There are also two instances when the word “Lover” is used, both times it is capitalized. Is this another clue? Perhaps the name of the next single. It has already shown up in the official “ME!” video. Only time will tell which theories were correct, and which were totally off. Swift seems to be taking her sweet time and basking in the moment of torturing us with withholding valuable information. In the meantime, we have all these videos to watch and analyze and don’t forget her big show-stopping (or starting) performance at the #BBMAs tonight!

Taylor Swift is Dropping Her New Single “ME!” ft. Brendon Urie and Music Video Tonight!

She also spoke about the new song saying ME! “is about embracing your individuality and owning it…. I want one (a song) that makes you feel better about yourself.” When asked who makes Swift feel better about herself she gushed about how the fans are always there for her “My fans are amazing, I cannot believe how dedicated they are, how thoughtful, how much they care. So it makes it more fun to create music, to create music videos knowing that they’ll care about little easter eggs or clues or hints. You have no idea how fun it is to make stuff for people who care about stuff like that, so it’s the fans, they’ve always been there. It’s gotten more fun as time has passed.”

Swift will also be sitting down with Roberts tomorrow to talk more about the single, along with dropping another surprise!

Exclusive: Chelsea Bain Releases Lyric Video for “Medicate” – Watch!

Arizona Native, Chelsea Bain is making her way as a newcomer on the Country Music scene, but she is no newcomer to performing in front of big crowds and winning over listeners who have never heard her before.

Bain recently released an EP titled Drinkin’ Alone that showcases incredible vocal strength and a sound mature beyond her years that we’re left wondering how many lifetimes she’s actually lived.

In the Country Music scene, where there’s so much talent making their way, Bain offers her stories, that resonate with listeners and a sound that’s not forced. She isn’t trying to be something she’s not or sell a song that doesn’t ring true to herself.

“Medicate” is just one of the many songs on the Drinkin’ Alone EP that listeners will be able to relate to, not having a cure for getting over a heartache.

I’ve tried like hell to find / Someone with a fix for heartache / I’d die for a dose or five / Write me a prescription / I’ll take it / You’re the only problem / That’s got me in pain / That I can’t medicate.

Variety Beat has the exclusive premiere of the “Medicate” lyric video! Bain told us about the song, saying:

“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve written, I’ve never laughed so hard in a writing session. Heartbreak is always hard, but in “Medicate” it was fun to get to bring some humor to it and speak to the fact that we’d all love a quick fix for a broken heart!”

More About Chelsea Bain:

When you hear Chelsea Bain belt out a song – be it a beautiful ballad or rousing rocker – you know it comes straight from her heart.

A distinctive vocalist and instinctive songwriter, every word she writes and every note she sings proves her strength, her passion, is born from experience.

Chelsea harbored two great passions as she was growing up on an Arizona farm. When not listening to Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks, Chelsea picked up a love for horses from that cowboy culture in which she was raised. As young as 4 years old, she was trying her luck at barrel racing. Later she graduated to doing breed shows. Sometimes her two interests intersected — on one occasion, with embarrassing results.

“One of the classes I was competing in was right after the break where I’d been asked to sing the national anthem,” she remembers. “After I sang, I hurried back toward the stall, holding my chaps up. My horse was ready to go. They’re throwing my jacket on me and saying, ‘You’re next! Are you ready?’”

She laughs, and then observes, “I guess I get it in my head sometimes that I can take on the world. I can do everything at once. And it’ll all be fine.”

It’s easy to see why. In addition to winning more than 10 world and national titles in the American Paint Horse Association, this determined young woman won notice around Phoenix by singing at rodeos, giving vocal recitals and performing in grade-school productions of Chicago, Les Miserables and other Broadway shows. “I was extremely competitive about it,” she recalls. “There were some interesting moments between some girls and me, battling it out for solos.”

Still, Chelsea didn’t have many opportunities to perform her first love, country music, in her hometown. And so, like so many other hopefuls, at just 19 years old she made the move to Music City.

Much of her learning process came from performing nearly 30 weekends per year at NASCAR and NHRA racing events. “NASCAR taught me everything about getting up onstage and being in front of a crowd,” Chelsea says. “The people aren’t there for a concert. They’re there to see Dale Junior. To play to thousands of people in those circumstances is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do. Every single weekend, I had to win them over and share my music with brand new people. Luckily, and I’m thanking God for this, they loved it and I built an entire fan base from it.”

Always a songwriter, Chelsea’s creativity, heart and outright boldness were ramped up to an entirely new level when she befriended singer/songwriter Rachel Farley. The two began collaborating, and Farley helped pull out emotions and attitudes Chelsea wasn’t even aware she possessed. The two co-wrote all five songs on Chelsea’s upcoming EP, and songwriter/producer/instrumentalist Jordan Sapp joined them on four of tracks.

Having learned, matured, reexamined her roots without letting go of the high-energy throttle, Chelsea is very candid about her next project. “This new music really showcases who I am as a writer and an artist,” Chelsea explains. “I’ve gone through so much in life since I was a kid,” she muses. “It’s taken a long time to figure out how I wanted to put all that I’ve experienced together and incorporate it into my music. But now I feel that the next album is exactly what I want it to be — Chelsea Bain, through and through.”

She smiles, having spoken as she sings, with the power of truth, assurance and total confidence.

“Olé,” is the lead single from Isabella’s upcoming untitled EP that is slated to be released in 2017. The song tells the story of a king who is willing to sacrifice everything for the love of the world. It is influenced by gypsy culture and flamenco in southern Spain. The percussion reflects the sounds of Puerto Rico, the diversity of the culture and Isabella’s musical influences. Isabella told Variety Beat:

“Olé is very personal to me as it is about true and everlasting love. It symbolizes a love story between a king and a young woman. It also means more to me than a relationship between two people who deeply love one another; it is a reflection of the past and what will happen in the future because of this love.”

Along with the single, Isabella has released a music video to compliment the song. Isabella talks about the inspiration for the music video:

“Flamenco culture was the main inspiration for the video. I intended to use visuals that would reflect a modern, pop artist version of international Andalusian flamenco. The director and I worked together to have dynamic and colorful visuals that represented both the song’s storyline and myself as an artist.”

“Olé” will also be included on Isabella’s upcoming EP that will feature songs written from a place of passion, and is introspective of what it means to love. The central theme of the EP is everlasting love, with all the songs featuring reoccurring characters and anecdotes from Isabella’s personal life. Be sure to keep an eye out next year for the full EP!
