Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Perform Together on His Birthday – Watch!

Blake Shelton celebrated his  40th Birthday at Country Jam in Grand Junction, CO this weekend and he had a huge surprise for the crowd! His girlfriend Gwen Stefani came out to perform their duet “Go Ahead And Break My Heart” from Shelton’s new album If I’m Honest.

Afterward, Shelton told the crowd:

“This is fun! Y’all have been so freakin’ nice to me on my 40th birthday and I guess if I had one birthday wish for me personally … I wish I could rock. I wish I was one of those type of artists that could rock but I can’t. For my birthday I wish I could hear an artist who could rock, that’s my birthday wish.”

The crowd was also treated to Stefani singing her band No Doubt’s hit song “Hella Good.” Earlier in the day Shelton had revealed in his meet and greet line that Stefani had decorated his plane for his birthday (birthday goals). Shelton and Stefani have not been shy about their new relationship since confirming it on November 4th, 2015. They’ve been spotted together numerous times, performed on The Voice together, are featured on each other’s social media and this past weekend changed their twitter profile pictures to pictures of each other (the new Facebook official?).

As seen on Stefani’s snap chat she gave Shelton a guitar shaped birthday cake!

Gallery: Katie Armiger Performs at CMA Fest

CMA Fest  is pretty much the best week(end) of the year. There is no other festival that has the magnitude of Country Artists involved. If you are a Country Music Artist, chances are you are doing something at CMA Fest. The other wonderful part about that glorious weekend is that it’s sometimes the only chance you have to see some of your favorite artists. A lot of them aren’t able to travel to every city or aren’t on a major tour, so seeing them is rare. That’s why every year, going to CMA Fest is a must!

Thankfully, Variety Beat was able to catch up with one of our favorite Female Country Artists, Katie Armiger last month and see her again at CMA Fest! Armiger had three performances during the weekend and we were able to be at two of them!

Armiger performed at the Willie Nelson & Friends Museum and even paid tribute to Nelson by performing “Always On My Mind.”

Country Stars Band Together To Benefit ‘Orlando’s Night Of Healing And Country Music’

On Tuesday June 21st, 2016 country stars will come together to raise money for the victims and their families of the Orlando tragedy.

Orlando’s Night Of Healing & Country Music is sponsored by Orlando radio station K92.3. All proceeds from ticket sales and parking fees will go to the ‘OneOrlando Fund‘ which was announced by the Mayor in the wake of the Tragedy at Pulse nightclub this past weekend.

Performers slated to preform are Billy Currington, Easton Corbin, Parmalee, Cole Swindell, Tyler Farr, Maddie and Tae, Jerrod Niemann, Canaan Smith and Michael Ray

Tickets are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.com for $20.00 (plus tax) with Ticketmaster fees waved. The event will be held at CFE arena on the campus of the University of Central Florida. Once again Country artisits and the music industry prove that they’re always there to help out in a time of need.
