About Kelsea Ballerini:
Applauded as GRAMMY nominee Kelsea Ballerini’s “grown-up statement” (Rolling Stone), the Black River Entertainment artist’s acclaimed sophomore album UNAPOLOGETICALLY takes listeners on an intimate journey of loss, life, and love. Top 5-and-rising “Legends” is the lead single off the 12-track compilation – all written or co-written by Ballerini. She’s currently on THE UNAPOLOGETICALLY TOUR, following her sold-out first headlining tour, THE FIRST TIME TOUR (2016). The record-breaker skyrocketed to stardom after releasing PLATINUM-certified, #1 smashes – “Love Me Like You Mean It,” “Peter Pan,” “Dibs” – from her critically acclaimed, GOLD-certified breakout THE FIRST TIME. Ballerini is the only female artist in Country music history, including female duos and groups, to go #1 with her first three consecutive singles from a debut album. In 2017, she appeared on the cover of Billboard Magazine’s GRAMMY preview issue, was included in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” class, and featured in People Magazine’s “Beauty at Every Age” list in their iconic World’s Most Beautiful issue. Praised by The New York Times as an “elegant songwriter,” Ballerini has received the esteemed ASCAP Vanguard Award, CMT’s Impact Award after being chosen to be a part of CMT’s Next Women of Country, Nashville Business Journal’s Artist of The Year, ACM Honor’s Gene Weed Milestone Award, iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Country Artist, ACM Award for New Female Vocalist of the Year (2016), ACCA Award for Breakthrough Female of the Year (2016), multiple Radio Disney Music Awards, and Billboard’s Rising Star title at the prestigious 2015 Women in Music event.

Taylor Swift Invited Fans Over To Listen to ‘Reputation’ in London Secret Sessions!

Can you believe Taylor Swift is doing Secret Sessions again for her new album Reputation? It’s been 3 years since 1989 was released and Swift started hosting a series of Secret Sessions in multiple cities like Los Angeles, New York and Nashville. She even did international ones. London is the first Secret Session of the Reputation era which took place on October 13!! Swift herself said she loves the 13 and fans were wondering if something was going to happen!

Fans in attendance even got special keychains just for the event! Of course, they were in the shape of a snake! Swift even wore a snake ring and boots!

There were roughly 100 people at the London Secret Sessions from 13 different countries! She really does love the 13th! Fans described the album as darker, shady, better than Red, the best album she’s ever made… and according to a fan, Taylor herself described 1989 as an afternoon album and Reputation as a night time album. Which leads us to believe it’s something very dancy!

There was also a track that made everyone cry and we are wondering if it is track 5, since track 5 is typically the saddest song on the album, think “All Too Well” “Dear John” “White Horse” “Cold As You” and “All You Had To Do Was Stay.”

As far as the menu goes, according to so some secret sessioners, there were Reputation cookies, biscuits and chicken nuggets! Swift’s mom, Andrea told fans that she did not want to do interviews for her upcoming album but she does want to do Secret Sessions. With so much of her past two songs making jabs at the media, it’s not surprising Swift doesn’t want to do a bunch of media. You don’t get to take swipes at someone all the time, then suddenly want to be in their good favor again to get the attention. Being good to people all the time and being authentic will pay off in the end.

We can’t wait to see what else Swift has up her sleeve! Check back for more photos from the event!

Maren Morris Releases New Song “Dear Hate” After Route 91 Harvest Tragedy.

Maren Morris was the power Woman of Route 91 Harvest Festival as she was the second to last performer on the main stage Saturday night. To put it in perspective, Both Friday and Sunday only had 1 female performer and neither performed on the main stage, they were also the opening act of the entire day on the smaller stage. Saturday saw the most female performers, with 4, two on the smaller stage and 2 on the main stage. Only male acts were chosen to close out all three evenings.

It’s no secret it’s been harder for female acts to break through in Country Music, but both Morris and Lauren Alaina who also took the main stage proved they had just as right to that stage as any male!

Following the tragedy of the terrible shooting Sunday night at the festival, Marren released a previously unreleased song called “Dear Hate” which features Vince Gill.

Morris shared that she wrote this song three years ago and it never seemed like there would be a good time to put it out, but that she wanted to remind people of love and music during these dark times. Listen to the song below and view the photo gallery of her performing at the festival.

“Dear hate, I saw you on the news today…”

Morris put on an electrifying performance that media was allowed to shoot from the soundbooth. That being said, the photo gallery below was the most up close shots we could get! Enjoy!

Kelleigh Bannen Rocked Route 91 Harvest!

Going to Route 91 Harvest was driven by the sole reason that Country Artist Kelleigh Bannen was performing! She is after all one of our favorite artists/people to ever exist! We last saw her performing in June at CMA Fest and quite frankly, that entirely too long! She’s a gem and we feel lucky to have found her.

Bannen’s time in Las Vegas was short lived but not without exciting memories. I mean, who else got to share a nightcap with a RAT?!

Bannen kicked off the ‘Next From Nashville’ stage for day 2 of Route 91 Harvest and she did not disappoint! She performed songs off her EP including “Cheap Sunglasses,” Once Upon A,” “Landlocked” and even rapped TLC‘s “Waterfalls.” She ended her set with a very Vegas-esque song “Smoke When I Drink.”

Here’s a clip of “Daddy Got A Girlfriend” which has not officially been released yet!

After her set, Bannen even took time to meet all the fans who wanted to say hi and get a picture with the singer/songwriter. She shared more on social media later, including videos on her Instagram story where she watched Maren Morris and Sam Hunt from backstage! Clearly, she had no fun at all!

We had absolutely no fun in Vegas. 📷 @variety_beat. #route91harvest @route91harvest

Route 91 Harvest Artist Spotlight: Lauren Alaina

Lauren Alaina is on fire right now! With a #1 song in the books, it’s no wonder she is feeling great since her days on American Idol. Her album Road Less Traveled came out earlier this year and she has definitely been on everyone’s radar.

Check out our photo gallery of Lauren at the City of Hope softball game in June!

That’s why you can’t miss her show during Route 91 Harvest Festival later this month!! She will be performing on the Main Stage at 5:20pm on Saturday September 30th! Las Vegas won’t be ready!!
