While announcing her tour, Ballerini shared how touring with other artists over the last couple years has shaped the way she approaches touring!

“I’ve been blessed to open for so many incredible artists and people I admire. Getting to watch their shows and learn more about our craft has inspired me to grow as an artist. One of the highlights of touring has been meeting fans and creating new relationships along the way. And for that reason, I was inspired to put together my first headlining tour. I can’t wait to get up close and personal with the people who have made the last few years so incredible. See you this fall!”

Jason Aldean Scores 17th #1 And Announces New Album!

Monday was an exciting day for fans of Jason Aldean! Fans awoke to the news that the Macon native’s latest single “Lights Come On“ had made it to the top of the charts making it Aldean’s 17th #1!! The song which premiered on the ACM awards the night Aldean was named Entertainer Of The Year is the lead single off his 7th Studio album. Little has been known about the album until today. It was just announced that his 7th album They Don’t Know will be released on September 9th! Also revealed were the cover art and the track list!

They Don’t Know will once again be produced by Michael Knox, Jason’s longtime producer. The album which features 15 songs also features a duet that may be surprising to some! Kelsea Ballerini joins Aldean on the track “First Time Again.”

They Don’t Know will be different then the past couple projects from Aldean, he told Rolling Stone Country earlier this year that the album goes back to the roots of the first few albums!

“This album really does go back to what I do best. When you go back and listen to Wide Open and My Kinda Party… It’s sort of the combination of those two albums. It’s just getting back to what we do. At the end of the day, our core sound is up tempo rock and roll, and the slow to mid-range things are a little country. That’s the system that works for us.”

He also went on to say that this album will have a more mature sound now that he was older and has been in country music for 11 years.

“As you get older, your subject matter of songs starts to change. The things that I cut 10 years ago when I was first getting started, I would not necessarily cut those songs now. I like to think I’m older and a little bit wiser than when I started, but that’s probably debatable. Well, the older part isn’t debatable!”

VB Interviews Lindsay Ell: Hey “ByThe Way” She Loves Her Fans!

My favorite interview of CMA Fest was with the sensational Lindsay Ell! Not only is Ell an amazing Country Artist, she’s also an amazing guitar shredding machine! Plus, she’s amazing with her fans and even gives guitar lessons on social media and in person before concerts! I’ve had the opportunity to meet Ell several times over the last couple of years as a fan, so being able to interview her was pretty amazing!

It’s wonderful that artists can also cheer on the people who cheer them on, whether it be RTing them or saying how proud they are of everything they are working on. It’s all a team effort and I’m happy to be on the team to help support amazing Country Artists!

Ell had an incredible week at CMA Fest, she was nominated for a CMT award and chatted about walking the red carpet (she looked stunning!) and what an honor it was to be nominated in the same category as Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Eldredge, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.

We also spoke to Ell about her single “By The Way” which is an empowering song about not waiting around being sad about a date or relationship that didn’t work out and getting back out there. Sometimes it just takes a little confidence and this song helps remind you of that! Plus it’s super catchy and one you will want to be jumping up and down to!

Ell had an amazing week at CMA Fest, performing her own shows and also joining Kristian Bush and Natalie Stovall for a show, along with the much anticipated Bobby Bones concert where he brought out a whole bunch of Female Country Artists! Ell is so thankful for everything he is doing for the Women of Country and so are we! Bones recently tweeted about needing to only hear female country artists for the next 3 years!
