A music video, that showcased the talent that has been around since the early years of the association, along with artists who are still performing today and all of these artists that will forever represent and be a part of Country Music.

They were able to get GRAMMY winning Director, Joseph Kahn to make the vision a reality. As with all of Kahn’s creations, he really was the mastermind behind it all. In the making of video, we see the idea for wanting all of these stars to sing a song that represented the last 50 years of Country Music, Kahn suggested a mashup of multiple songs to tie everything together. It makes for one emotional journey, especially with the imagery. The songs include Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You,” John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” and Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again.”

The video was shot in front of green screens, and the end result is a beautiful work of art as we see cities being built and changing from town to town, as is much of the life of a touring artist.

2005

The Ryman can be seen coming together and then fading away as life takes on this journey, but yet always lead back home.

The video ends with a shot of Dolly Parton, singing one of the most recognizable and global songs to date, one that she wrote herself “I Will Always Love You.”

The song encompasses all of these artists and every Country Music artist who ever was and will ever be. It represents the listeners and the relationship artists have with them, the industry, the life. Country Music.

Congratulations Carrie Underwood on Your 24th #1 Single “Church Bells”

Unstoppable powerhouse, Carrie Underwood just landed her 24 #1 at Country Radio with “Church Bells.” This marks Underwood’s third straight #1 from her album Storyteller. “Story Teller” continues on a similar theme of Underwoods which has to do with Domestic Violence and faith.

It was all bruises, covered in makeup
Dark sunglasses
And that next morning, sitting in the back pew
Praying with the baptist

She could hear those church bells ringing, ringing
And up in the loft, that whole choir singing, singing
Fold your hands and close your eyes
Yeah, it’s all gonna be alright

According to Billboard: “Church Bells” is Underwood’s 15th Country Airplay No. 1, extending her mark for the most leaders among women, dating to the chart’s launch on Jan. 20, 1990. Reba McEntire is second among women with 11 No. 1s; Tim McGraw leads all acts with 28. Underwood now ties Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean with 15!

Carrie Underwood Releases “Church Bells” Music Video – Watch

While some fans may be disappointed that Carrie Underwood put out a tour video as the “Church Bells” music video, others will be glad to get a taste of her tour! It looks like quite a production, from someone who hasn’t been there yet! The main focus is of course on her outfit during her “Church Bells” performance, but there are shots from other songs and of the fans as well!

Screen Shot 2016-05-12 at 3.30.40 PM

Underwood’s previous music video for “Heartbeat,” wasn’t much of a video as far as Music Videos go. There was a lot she could have done with that song, which features Sam Hunt, but when you are Carrie Underwood, you don’t have to do much.

Most all of her songs go #1 and Music Videos aren’t something she really needs to put out, but she does it for the fans and maybe partly because it’s expected. Being a mom, a wife and a touring artist has got to be hard, so the music video fits perfectly with her lifestyle.
