It’s getting to be that time of year again. The 52nd annual ACM Awards are upon us. Live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday, April 2nd at 5pm. To get ready for the show the country music world is taking over Las Vegas for the weekend with over 15 parties and shows around the town. We have 3 of those 15 parties for you with performers that are scheduled.
Kicking off with the 9th Annual All Star Guitar Pull on March 30th at 7pm at the Red Rock Casino hosted by 95.5 the Bull. Which, benefits St. Jude’s children’s hospital. The lineup so far Lauren Alaina, Jon Pardi, Darius Rucker, Chris Stapleton, and The Band Perry. Tickets are still available for this event.
Saturday April 2nd, two different shows are confirmed. The first show is at The Joint inside the Hardrock Casino. Doors open at 5pm and tickets have yet to go on sale. The lineup for this show includes: Lady Antebellum, Kelsea Ballerini, Kip Moore, and Brett Young. More talent will be announced soon! Keep your eyes open for tickets going on sale you will not want to miss this all-star lineup.
The second show going on April 2nd is at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay Casino. Doors are at 7pm and tickets are on sale soon. The lineup for this show includes: Billy Currington, Dan+Shay, Lauren Alaina, and Seth Ennis.

It’s a good day for Country Music when really talented people, such as The Henningsens, are able to release a full length album. Made up of a father, son/daughter trio, Brian, Aaron and Clara Henningsen are the brains behind a lot of favorite songs! They’ve had many cuts by The Band Perry including their hits “All Your Life” and “You Lie.”
Parting ways with their label last year, isn’t keeping The Henningsens from releasing new music! They announced Wednesday, May 11 that they would be putting out a new album called World’s On Fire out June 1, 2016! If you pre-order the album, you will also get the title track as an instant download!
The complete track listing hasn’t been revealed but it does include “Like a Girl,” “Sugar Rush,” “Jesus or a Bullet” and the title track.

With the ACM Party For A Cause Festival just a few short days away, I thought it might be fun to post a recap of my very first PFAC experience! Prior to the introduction of this multiple day star-studded music filled event, there were free shows on Freemont Street at night during The Week Vegas Goes Country. While those free shows continued during the 2013 ACM Week, they were discontinued the following year.
The first annual Party For A Cause Festival was hosted at The Orleans Hotel and took place Friday April 5th and Saturday April 6th, 2013. This event provided fans with an entire “ACM Experience,” as well as introducing fans to some philanthropic causes including Outnumber Hunger and the Wounded Warrior Project. The ACM Expo was free, but you had to pay to get to the festival inside to see the artists performances.
Just look at the list of autograph signings and performances! Such a FULL packed schedule of country music FUN for the fans!
Day 1, Friday 3/5/13:
Performances by Cassadee Pope, Florida Georgia Line, Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, and headlining the first night was The Band Perry!

2013 was also the first year that Luke Bryan co-hosted the Awards Show with Blake Shelton, replacing his previous co-host Reba McEntire. The Academy cleverly named this duo “Bluke” and there were “Flat Blake’s” and “Flat Luke’s” passed out at the festival.
Fans inside a restaurant at The Orleans propped their “Flat Luke’s” up in the window for all to see!
Along with this, there was also an amazing contest to win PIT TICKETS at the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards!!
The First Annual Party For a Cause Festival is also where I met the owner of this website, Jencita. I had orginally found her on Twitter, met her in person in Vegas… and now, 3 years later, we will be road-tripping together to Vegas for the 4th Annual Party For A Cause Festival!

As you can see from that photo, night had fallen. I had won myself a pair of VIP bracelets to Kip Moore‘s late night performance at Freemont Street, so I had to hurry back to the hotel and change and get ready to see one of my favorite artists up close from the pit! Freemont Street was insane, so many people because there were such great artists, all performing for free! It was just a matter of how early you wanted to get there so you could be close enough to see! I definitely miss that aspect of ACM Week!
Day 2, Saturday 4/6/13
Day 2 of the party hosted Dustin Lynch, Love and Theft, Kix Brooks, Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes, Eli Young Band and headliner Dierks Bentley.

Which artist performance or event are you most excited for this year?! Besides the opportunity to see and meet some of my favorite artists, I’m kind of most excited for the free Red Bull as you leave the festival gates at night to give me some energy for some late night fun! It will also be my first chance to see Maren Morris, Chris Lane, Chris Janson and Granger Smith. I’m very excited to see all of them for the first time!
Stagecoach is right around the corner and if day 1 wasn’t enough to get your heart beating real fast day 2 promises to put you into overdrive. The talent that will be gracing the stage for day 2 is insane. With artists such as Mo Pitney, Chris Stapleton, Joe Nichols, Lee Ann Womack, John Fogerty, The Band Perry, and headlining the night is none other than Carrie Underwood. Get ready because day 2 is going to be crazy.
Artist Spotlight
Mo Pitney is taking the stagecoach stage for the first time this year. His current single “Boy & A Girl Thing” is climbing the charts Pitney and proving he will be a household name sooner rather than later. You might have heard some of his other hits such as “I Met Merle Haggard Today” and “Country”.
With 2 GRAMMY wins and a #1 single “Nobody To Blame,” Chris Stapleton is taking the music industry by storm. Its no wonder he was asked to perform at Stagecoach this year. With six weeks at number 1, Stapleton also has various other number 1 hit songs for other artists under his belt. Stapleton is currently climbing the charts with his current single “Fire Away.” If this song is anything like his other #1s we are sure to see him up at the top of the charts very soon.
Joe Nichols isreturning to the stagecoach festival after his killer performance in 2013 with hit singles such as “Sunny and 75” and “Gimmie That Girl.” We are sure to see some amazing things from Nichols this year. His current single “Freaks Like Me” with give the crowd a rise! Nichols is sure to leave it all on the stage and leave the crowd wanting more.
What can be said about this next performer but ‘Legendary Female Icon in Country Music?’ Spanning several decades Lee Ann Womack has given us songs such as “I Hope You Dance” and “Something Worth Leaving Behind.” With her talent and song list this performance is sure to be nothing short of spectacular. Womack’s current single “The Way I’m Livin” will take the top spot on the stage night two.
John Fogerty.That’s it!!! What more can be said about this man. Legendary and Icon Fogerty is returning to the Stagecoach festival after his performance in 2008. He brings with him songs such as “Born On The Bayou,” “Mystic Highway” and “Don’t You Wish It Was True” along with his latest single “Fortunate Son.” This is sure to be one of the best performances of the night and one of the most anticipated.
But wait there is more!!!!!!
The Band Perry is taking the stagefor the third time in Stagecoach history after their performances in 2012 and 2015. They bring to us their latest single “Live Forever.” It follows past singles such as “Better Dig 2,” “Chainsaw” and “If I Die Young.” With this being their third year they are no strangers to the Stagecoach crowd and they are sure to bring a spectacular show that will leave all the fans shouting for more.
THE HEADLINER
Who better to close out night two than a legend in her own right. Multi-time GRAMMY Award winner Carrie Underwood. With a list of hits a mile long Underwood is the perfect person to close out a night of high energy performers. Underwood brings to the stage her latest #1 song “Heartbeat.” We are sure to hear her other hits such as “Two Black Cadillacs,” “Blown Away” and “Before He Cheats.” These could be encore songs as this Country Diva has many songs that will keep the crowd rocking through her entire set. It is no doubt that if the crowd is loud like in the past years she has performed (2008, 2011) an encore will likely happen.
With a lineup like this night 2 of this 10 year anniversary is surely to be memorable for all those in attendance. If you haven’t bought your tickets for this epic three day festival you better hurry and get them before they sell out. You don’t want to miss this festival for anything. Again the festival is April 29-May 1 in Indio, CA at the Empire Polo Club.
