Taylor Swift Finally Reveals Details About Her New Album ‘Lover’

Taylor Swift took to Instagram live Thursday, June 13 (see what she did there) to reveal the name of her 7th studio album due out August 23, 2019! Swift preciously said the title of the album was in her music video for “ME!” and that it was the most obvious thing.

This lead fans to believe it was called “Lover” since it was literally the most obvious things and word in the music video.

Swift also revealed the album title was seen once (above) and heard twice.

The lyrics for me say

Baby doll, when it comes to a lover

Twice!

The album will feature 18 tracks! The most out of any album Swift has released thus far! It’s release date of August 23 converts to 8 + 2 +3 which of course = 13! Swift herself said an easy way to remmeber that is “August is the 8th month and then 23 is 2+3 which together adds up to 13.”

On her album, Swift had this to say:

“‪This album in tone is very romantic, and not just simply thematically like it’s all love songs or something. Because I think that the idea of something being romantic doesn’t have to be a happy song. I think that you can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through a conflict or dealing with things in your life. It just kind of looks at those things with a very romantic gaze.”

Swift also revealed that the title of her next single was also in the “ME!” music video and mentioned that speaking in French in the beginning was a clue!

Brendon Urie, Swift’s lover in the video literally says (in French) “you need to calm down” in the video to which Swift replies “I am calm!” Swift revelaed her next single is in fact called “You Need to Calm Down” and it is track 14 on the album! It comes out tonight at midnight!! The music video for it will premiere on Good Morning America on June 17!

Swift also revealed the album cover! You can pre-order the album here!

Swift said there will be a standard edition of the album and there will be 4 deluxe versions exclusively at Target and her website globally. She also showed each version so everyone could see what they would be getting! Each one has unique content inside.

There will also be two audio recordings on the deluxe versions. For the release of the album there will be a collaboration with Stella McCartney! Swift has been wearing some of her designs lately! Swift said she will be giving more details closer to the launch on the album about what exacrtly that collaboration will entail!

Lindsey Lohan tuned into the livestream as well! Along with Martha Hunt!

Kelsea Ballerini Hits #1 at Country Radio with “Miss Me More!”

Kelsea Ballerini has claimed the #1 spot at country radio with her latest single, “Miss Me More,” the fiercely confident and empowering stand-out track from her sophomore album, Unapologetically.

The news originally broke Sunday, with one superfan even managing to record her reaction while waiting in a meet-and-greet line during CMA Fest.

According to the official press release from Sweet Talk Publicity, the firm that represents Ballerini, “Miss Me More” marks her “fifth career #1.” Ballerini is also the “first female artist with a chart-topping single in 15 months” when she previously reached number one with the lead Unapologetically track, “Legends.” That means the last female to get a #1 song in the last 15 months was only Ballerini.

Fellow country artist Luke Bryan predicted that Ballerini would hit #1 with “Miss Me More” and urged fans to call in to their local radio stations and request the song when he crashed her interview with Entertainment Tonight’s Nancy O’ Dell backstage at last week’s CMT Awards.

Following the news that her song charted to #1, Ballerini took to various social media platforms, including Instagram to thank her fans for their support.

Ballerini’s latest career achievement comes fresh after her recent induction into the Grand Ole Opry as its youngest ever member.

Congratulations Kelsea!

Adam Levine Announces that He’s Leaving ‘The Voice’

News broke Friday that Adam Levine will not be returning as a coach next season on NBC’s The Voice.

“Our friend and coach Adam Levine made the decision not to return next season,” read a statement put out by The Voice’s official Twitter handle. “We’re going to miss Adam but The Voice is family and with family it’s ‘see you soon,’ never ‘goodbye.’”

The Maroon 5 frontman shared similar sentiments in a lengthy Instagram post.

“I am truly honored to have been a part of something I’ll always cherish for the rest of my life,” he said. “Thank you to every single coach I ever sat in those chairs with. That is shared experience that is singularly ours. We have that for life.”

Levine also thanked The Voice host Carson Daly, the crew, and the fans for their support, promising he’ll “be back to say hi very very soon.”

Following Levine’s decision to exit The Voice, his fellow coaches took to social media to react.

“Having a hard time wrapping my head around @adamlevine not being at @NBCTheVoice anymore,” Blake Shelton tweeted. “I only found out about this yesterday and it still hasn’t set in on me yet.”

“We’ll miss you brother,” Voice newcomer, John Legend added.

“I get that he’s been doing the show for a while and wants to step away, it will be weird showing up for work and he’s not there,” Kelly Clarkson said. “To start an amazing show from the ground up is a big deal!”

In the same statement sharing the news of Adam’s exit, The Voice announced that former coach Gwen Stefani will be back in his place this fall.

Although we’ll miss seeing Adam on the show, we wish him the best in the next phase of career and we thank him for his mentorship during the past 16 seasons!

Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris Started Burning With People Inside

The Notre Dame Cathedral started burning Monday, April 15, 2019 while guests were inside. One visitor, Stefany Vargas told Variety Beat:

I got photos (of the Notre Dame) before I went inside. They started kicking us out and I thought it was just because it was closing. It was about 6:30pm and it closes at 6:46. I didn’t know it was burning. I went across the way at the bookstore and we all saw it smoking.”

The cathedral’s frame is not expected to survive the damage, but workers were trying to save as much of the art inside as possible. Monday’s guests were the last to see the cathedral intact. It is not the first time the cathedral has caught fire or had damage. Hopefully it can be reconstructed to its former glory.
