Taylor Swift Gets Stuck In Gold Cage, Held Hostage To Her Feelings – Sings Acapella!

It was a wild hometown show for Pop Sensation Taylor Swift as she returned to Pennsylvania for two nights in Philly! Swift was raised in Reading, PA and was so excited to be back, she even went and visited her childhood home! The owners were kind enough to let her in to look around and Swift shared a photo inside her old bedroom with lyrics from her song “Never Grow Up.”

She also shared a photo of herself standing in the same spot as she stood when she was 4-years-old! In it, she holds up a photo of her 4-year-old self and a page that reads:

“Taylor, 4 years old. Playing hop-scotch on the driveway with some of the barn cats in the background, of course.”

Of course, the secret song that night was “Never Grow Up” and she told the crowd about returning to her childhood home earlier that day:

“Today when I went back to the farm where I grew up, it’s not my family’s farm anymore. We sold it when we moved to Nashville and now this really wonderful family lives there and so I went by, stopped by. There were so nice to let me in and look around and everything. You know, I definitely get emotional coming back here, but I got especially emotional when I walked into my old room and there were cute little girl’s things in there.”

Night 2 had some crazy adventures as Swift’s sparkly golden cage she uses to fly over the crowd became stuck mid-air. She wasn’t sure what to do, but returned to the stage and decided to take the other snake skeleton cage to a different stage. Of course to pass the time, she asked the crowd if there were any songs of hers they would like to here, so they were treated to acapella versions of “Wildest Dreams” and “Our Song.” The snake of course came in handy, sparking the comment “TWINKLY LIGHTS ARE NICE BUT A SNAKE WILL NEVER FAIL TO GET YOU WHERE YOU NEED TO GO.”

She told the crowd:

“What you just saw was me going up and down in the sparkly basket… it was supposed to take me to the other side of the stadium. We’re just gonna somehow figure out some way for me to get over there. So what happens now is that I’m just chilling waiting to figure out what happens next. I may just walk. I’m going to…okay so this is such a spoiler alert, but i have another flying thing across there that works apparently….OR wait so there are people talking in my ear, this is all…this is so boring for you I’m so sorry. There’s no way for me to just talk to them so this is all gonna play out in front of you. Is there a way for me to walk? Does it have to be flying? No one is saying anything to me literally just…Nobody is saying anything. So someone just came in my ear and goes ‘Hey Taylor its Dave, I have no idea either. So what I think might happen now maybe um… we sing something acapella to pass the time. [Sings “Our Song” acapella] ALRIGHT so no ones talked to me at all so i’m gonna see if this thingy works over here…”

After the show, Swift took to tumblr to reblog posts about the evening and when one fan pointed out: “So It Goes” …is taking back the narrative and literally trapping Taylor in a gold cage, hostage to her feelings for not performing it every night on tour on tour, she replied “This is so real I cackled” and included the hashtags #Revenge of the unsung Rep track #tonight was a wild time!

Swift also performed “Treacherous” from her Red Album for the first time this tour! It sounds like the concert was a little “Treacherous” but in the best way! What could of been disasterous turned into memorable moments for both Swift and her fans. She handled everything like a pro, even when the crew didn’t know what to do! With her quick thinking, she sprung into action when the gravity turned out to be too much.

Adele , J.K. Rowling, David Beckham and More Attend Taylor Swift’s London ‘Reputation Tour’

Adele and J.K. Rowling and David Beckham oh my! What do these three have in common with the likes of other stars like Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann, Stella McCartney (Fashion designer and daughter of Paul McCartney) Niall Horan, Robbie Williams, Sienna Miller, Anna Friel (Who recently was in a movie with Swift’s brother Austin Swift)? They were all at Taylor Swift‘s Reputation Tour in London!

Beckham took his kids to the show, who each posted a picture with Swift after the show and Beckham posted an instagram video from the show!

It isn’t Adele’s first time at the Reputation Tour as she was also at the concert in Pasadena last month! Swift was so touched to have Adele and J.K. Rowling at the show, she shared pictures of them together! Talk about powerhouse! News also just broke that Adele’s next record won’t be out until December 2019! So we’ve got a way to go!

Swift also shared photos of her special guests over the weekend! Former One Direction member, Niall Horan who has been a long time fan of Swift’s was the first guest performer! They sung his song “Slow Hands”

The second guest performer was Robbie Williams and they performed “Angels.” The crowd was singing it so loud! Williams was even wearing some of Swift’s merch! He proudly showed it off in the middle of the performance!

It’s safe to say that even Hollywood’s biggest names enjoy themselves some T-Swizzle. Long live all the magic she makes.

Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann Really Love Taylor Swift, Who Can Blame Them?

Just a few weeks ago, someone tweeted they saw Judd Apatow and his wife Leslie Mann, at a restaurant but just admired from afar and didn’t want to interrupt. Apatow replied “That was very kind of you. You would have interrupted a long conversation about the quest to acquire Taylor Swift tickets.”

It’s no surprise, they ended up attending the concert while in London, as fans quickly spread the news they wanted to attend. The couple really seemed to enjoy the show and Apatow even posted a video of his wife dancing and singing right before Swift took the stage! They had special seating in Club Olivia!

It isn’t Apatow’s first Swift concert, in fact it seems he seems to go every tour! It seems as if Swift is his and Mann’s daughter! He tweeted a picture of the three of them during the Red Tour that said “Leslie and I are so proud of our new daughter @taylorswift13 .”

He’s been tweeting about Swift for years, the admiration is beautiful and humorous. In 2011 someone asked if his daughter’s knew the level of privilege they enjoyed and he replied “I would ask them, but they are with Taylor Swift.”

He even attended the 1989 Tour with his daughters!

He praises Swift’s performances and is really rooting her on. If there was any doubt he would get tickets to the Reputation Tour, all he had to do was ask. Luckily the fans did that for him!

Maybe they really are related! 🙂

Taylor Swift Surprising Unsuspecting Fans in Interviews is The Best Thing All Week!

Taylor Swift is always full of surprises, whether it be having her team upgrade people from $50 seats to $800 ones, inviting fans over to her house, showing up at their wedding or showing up at their house! There was a recent AT&T and DirecTV event before her Chicago show on her Reputation Stadium Tour where she decided to stop by!

Fans were giving on-screen interviews, talking about things from their favorite Taylor Swift song, to reasons they love the superstar. Each time, she would pop out and surprise them doing their interview! Swift shared in a video AT&T shared that all of these fans have been long time fans but had never had the chance to meet her. She of course, wanted to meet them as well!

Taylor Swift + Selena Gomez Have The Most Beautiful Friendship

When you think friendship goals, I hope you think of Taylena! Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have been friends for 12, almost 13 years. Which is monumental since it’s Swift’s favorite number. Gomez and Swift first found each other back when the Jonas Brother‘s were still a thing! Although many things have changed over the years, hairstyles, homes, boyfriends, one thing has never fallen apart, their friendship!

Like tradition would have it, Swift brought Selena out to be a special guest on her Reputation Stadium Tour, like she has each tour! They performed Gomez’s song “Hands To Myself” which  is a favorite of Taylor’s.

Swift shared a sweet picture of the two with the caption:

“To the person I could call at any time of day, who has been there no matter what… you absolutely KILLED IT tonight and everyone was so excited to see you. I love you, and 60,000 people at the Rose Bowl loved you too.”

Gomez echoed the sentiments, sharing a picture of the two backstage with the caption:

“I’m grateful for those I surround myself with. And this woman right here happens to be one of my favorites. Love our tradition and I love you.”

Not only did they have an electrifying performance, but Gomez made a surprise speech that even caught Swift off guard. She chokes up as she shares how much Swift and their friendship means and thanking everyone for supporting her because she is the kindest of humans.

“I have to say thank you to my best friend of about 12 years, almost 13, she’s been one of my best friends, because this person has never ever judged a single decision I’ve made, she has always met me where I’ve been, she has encouraged me when I’ve had nothing to be encouraged about, and I don’t know if I would be as strong as I am if I didn’t have you and your family, because you’ve changed my life. But honestly, thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting someone that I know is the most beautiful, strong, independent woman I’ve ever met, so thank you as her best friend.”

Swift tried to hug her during it, but Gomez wasn’t finished and swatted her away so she could continue gushing about her! Can you say friendship goals?
