Exclusive Video Premiere: Wreckless Strangers “Alexa” Animated Lyric Video – Watch!

When the Sun and a Blue Star Collide sounds like a beautiful metaphor for life. It’s also the title of Wreckless Strangers debut album! The Americana soul band is located in the Bay Area (California) and made up of six super talented musicians who share a love of dark moody songs about heartbreak and despair.

Their fourth single “Alexa” has a very popular name thanks to the Amazon music playing device! Which is in fact the inspiration behind the song! Co-writer of the song and vocalist for the band, Amber Morris reflects, “‘Alexa” makes light of just how seductive technology is to us. The listener believes a normal romantic relationship between two humans is forming, but the punchline is…it’s Alexa, the Amazon appliance. I think I was laughing out loud during the entire writing process on this one!” She continues: “I am completely obsessed with the “Alexa “lyric video! It’s as if Jason (director) got right into my head! It’s humorous and a little creepy and downright delightful!”

The “Alexa” lyric video depicts the human relationship with technology as Morris instructs Alexa, play my favorite song. It was created by Director, Photographer, Designer, Editor, Jason Lee Denton. Check out the premiere below and read on to discover more about Wreckless Strangers.
