Countdown to Kelsea Ballerini’s Sophomore Album ‘Unapologetically’ out November 3!

Black River Entertainment’s KELSEA BALLERINI has just revealed the title and release date for her highly anticipated sophomore album, sharing the news with fans across the nation during an appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Ballerini’s new album is titled UNAPOLOGETICALLY and will be officially released on November 3.

“I feel like I’ve been keeping a secret for two years that I finally get to tell,” Ballerini admits. “I’ve never been more proud as I am of this record, the story it tells, and the heart my friends and I put into it. So, November 3, we get to start the next chapter! Unapologetically…”
Additional details about UNAPOLOGETICALLY, including its track listing and cover artwork, will be unveiled soon.
Complementing her big announcement, Ballerini was on Good Morning America to perform her new single, “Legends,” a heart-melting tale of “crazy, tragic, epic” love which already has fans and critics swooning as it begins to climb the Country radio charts.

Co-written by Ballerini, Hillary Lindsey and Forest Glen Whitehead (who also serves as producer alongside Jason Massey), the single – and stunning music video directed by Jeff Venable – is the first tease of UNAPOLOGETICALLY and Ballerini’s sophisticated new sound.
The young singer-songwriter also gave TV viewers another look at “Legends,” as she appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Ballerini also played charades on The Tonight Show with Jessica Biel and Matt Bomer!

Next month, Ballerini will be at the center of another high-profile TV appearance as she and Thomas Rhett co-host CMA Fest: The Music Event of Summer. Airing August 16 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET, the two will be introducing show-stopping performances by Garth Brooks, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and more, all taped during the 2017 CMA Music Festival at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium in June.
In other exciting news, Ballerini also began using Instagram Story instead of solely using Snapchat, to welcome in this new era! We are unapologetically excited!
UNAPOLOGETICALLY is the long-awaited second chapter of Ballerini’s remarkable artistic story, a still-unfolding saga that has seen the Knoxville, Tennessee, native break all-time records. After the Top 5 release of her 2015 debut, THE FIRST TIME on Black River Entertainment, Ballerini placed her first three singles at #1 – the PLATINUM-certified “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Peter Pan,” and the GOLD-certified “Dibs” – a feat never achieved by a female (including duos or groups) in Country music history. Her fourth single, “Yeah Boy,” also achieved GOLD status and rose to the lofty perch of #3 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
Ballerini is currently bringing those record-breaking hits and “Legends” to fans all over the world, as she crisscrosses the country this summer on Lady Antebellum’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR and visits fans in the U.K., Ireland, and Europe in October.

White Noise
(Kelsea Ballerini, Josh Kear, Ross Copperman)
Broken heart beating silence and breathing
That’s all I hear these days
Ceiling fan spinning rumors beginning
That’s all I hear these days
‘Cause your memory is louder than the static
My head on your heart was such a habit
Going crazy now that I don’t have it
I don’t have it
CHORUS
Another headache from a loud crowd Friday
Another lover throwing gravel in the driveway
Another love song driving down the highway
But it’s just white noise
It’s just white noise
Another wakeup to the TV on sunrise
Another breakup with the echo of your goodbye
But it’s just white noise
It’s just white noise
‘Cause I miss you boy
So it’s just white noise
Bartender last drink, taxi on South Street
That’s all I hear these days
Friends calling friends baby
All in love and crazy
That’s all I hear these days
‘Cause your memory is louder than the static
My head on your heart was such a habit
Going crazy now that I don’t have it
I don’t have it
REPEAT CHORUS
Anything other than your voice X3
But it’s just white noise
Anything other than your voice X3
But it’s just white noise

The album features current single “Waiting On You,” which Rolling Stone Country applauds “is a showcase not only for the Canadian’s gifts as a singer but also as a guitarist.”

“This new music is the best I’ve ever done,” the multi-instrumentalist shares. I called the album The Project because that’s exactly what this whole process was. I’ve discovered who I am, what I want to say and how I want to say it. I’m so excited to finally have an album that is me, and I can’t wait for fans to hear it.”

The Project is the end result of a soul bearing creative process powered by true-to-life songwriting that inspired Ell to “find her artistic voice” (Billboard). From the funky and spirited “Champagne,” to the resilient and superbly relatable “Wildfire” to crowd-favorite “Criminal,” the album is layered with stand-outs.

ABOUT LINDSAY ELL:

Named one of The Huffington Post’s “Top Country Artists to Watch,” Lindsay Ell is a triple threat:  accomplished musician, unique vocalist and songwriter. The young Calgary native learned to play guitar while traveling with her father to country-bluegrass camps as a young girl. Ell honed her craft as a musical stylist and songwriter after being discovered by BTO and The Guess Who’s Randy Bachman (“American Woman” / “Taking Care of Business”) who discovered her at the age of 13.  The multi-instrumentalist was soon touring alongside the likes of Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy, The Band Perry and Keith Urban as well as wowing audiences as Carrie Underwood’s guitar player live on the 50th Annual CMA Awards and holding her own alongside icon Melissa Etheridge on Skyville Live.

A 2016 CMT Music Award and Canadian Country Music Award nominee, Ell exhilarated audiences from coast-to-coast as part of the 2016 CMT Next Women of Country Tour and is featured on Brad Paisley’s 2017 WEEKEND WARRIOR WORLD TOUR. Thompson Square Is Determined To Get New Music to Fans! – See Their Announcement!

Shawna and Keifer Thompson of Thompson Square, took to social media to clue fans into a big announcement that was coming later. However, twitter followers got a head’s up when they RTed an article mentioning they were parting ways with their record label.

Stoney Creek Records, a division of Broken Bow Records (home to Jason Aldean), has been the duo’s home since they first got a record deal back in 2010. The duo has two #1 singles and has racked up 7 award wins along with 2 GRAMMY nominations!

It’s been four years since the duo’s last album and since then fans have gotten a few singles, but are anxious for that third studio album! It has been just as frustrating for the duo as it has been for fans. Although, Stoney Creek has been a huge part of all their success, in the end sometimes a label can only take an artist so far.

Inside Thompson Square’s 2nd Annual CMA Fest Fan Club Party + A New Song!

It’s like ending a relationship on good terms, but knowing that it’s no longer beneficial for either party. Sometimes it takes that step to take control back over the vision and music. Without a label, Thompson Square will have more freedom to release music, an album and just do more of what feels good creatively. This is a good thing for fans eager to hear more music from the duo and a future album might just be around the corner.

In the meantime, the duo promises to stay very active on social media, where they have started “WinoWednesday” where they sing, hang out and drink wines while their fans tune in.

To our favorite duo, we can’t wait to see what you have in store, and we will always be in your corner.
