How do you like Taylor Swift now? On Sunday, November 24, Swift’s Lover album took home a win for FAVORITE ALBUM – POP/ROCK, making her the most awarded artist (male or female) in the American Music Awards history! She previously tied with Michael Jackson after it was announced she would be presented with the Artist of the Decade award.

A very excited Swift hugged Billy Porter and her publicist, Tree Paine before trying to figure out which way up the stage to walk! She greeted eager fans waiting for high fives on her way up to the stage before thanking her fans and her new record label for allowing her to make whatever kind of music she wants. She also gave a shout out to Brendon Urie and The Dixie Chicks who are featured on the album, along with Joe Little who worked with her on the album. She also stated she was so excited to perform for everyone later!

Swift also took home wins for FAVORITE MUSIC VIDEO “You Need To Calm Down” FAVORITE FEMALE ARTIST – POP/ROCK, FAVORITE ARTIST – ADULT CONTEMPORARY and ARTIST OF THE YEAR!! So basically she won all five awards she was nominated for! Swifties cannot be stopped!
