Let’s be honest, is Gilmore Girls without Sookie, really Gilmore Girls? Our beloved chef, Melissa McCarthy has confirmed she will be returning to Stars Hollow!

McCarthy told Ellen Degeneres:

There was a whole thing, and then I was going to be out of the country, and literally about an hour and a half ago, we figured out that I’m going to go back and do it, and I am so excited!

Seriously though, hearing about not having Sookie on the Gilmore Girls revival we were all like:

The two performed two songs each, Fallon was up first with Melanie‘s “Brand New Key” where Fallon pretended to be skating around on roller skates!
