Taylor Swift Finally Speaks Up About The Whereabouts of the 10min Version of “All Too Well”

So Taylor Swift has finally spoken out about the 10 minute version of “All Too Well.” I bet when it first was discovered there is an actual 10 minute version of the most iconic song in her repertoire, she never imaged it would be talked about so much.

The 10 minute version of “All Too Well” is a widely sought after thing, because I mean, just look at these lyrics:

Maybe we got lost in translation
Maybe I asked for too much
But maybe this thing was a masterpiece
‘Till you tore it all up
Running scared, I was there, I remember it all too well
And you call me up again just to break me like a promise
So casually cruel in the name of being honest
I’m a crumpled up piece of paper lying here
Cause I remember it all, all, all… too well

There is so much emotion and raw feelings. Swift took the song to Liz Rose who has worked with her on a number of songs, especially on her first two albums. She wanted Rose to help her filter through this 10 minute version.

“There’s a kind of bad that gets so overpowering you can’t even write about it,” she told USA Today of that time.

“All Too Well” [was difficult to write emotionally] because it took me a really long time to filter through everything I wanted to put in the song without it being a 10 minute song, which you can’t put on an album. I wanted a story that could work in the form of a song and I called my co-writer Liz Rose and said, ‘Come over, we’ve gotta filter this down,’ and it took me a really long time to get it.”

Lately, Swift has been commenting on fans instagram stories and joining in when they go live. One fan, did the world a solid favor and asked where the 10 minute version of “All Too Well” is. Swift replied in all caps saying:

“ITS SOMEWHERE IN A DRAWER I DON’T KNOW, I DON’T KNOW”

So what do we think? Does she really not know where it is? If she found it, would she release it?? Should we send someone to go search all her drawers? This is a national emergency!!

Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town is also excited for Swift’s upcoming album! Little Big Town was nominated for the CMA Award for “Song Of The Year” which goes to the songwriter, Taylor Swift, if won for “Better Man.”

Fairchild said: “Main thing that I’m dying to hear are the lyrics she wrote because the concept of reputation and the way she put it out, with this photo with basically headlines behind her, and just the year that she’s had in the spotlight even though she wasn’t touring, and the snake… She’s so creative that I’m just dying to hear what the music, the concept and visuals look like. She’s so smart that it’s gonna be amazing, I’m sure.”

Reputation is due out November 10! It’s almost here!

Anderson (now Lucier) and Swift met Freshman year of high school and the two have been best friends ever since! It looked like a beautiful day at Martha’s Vineyard!
