Ram Trucks Partners With ACM Party For A Cause For Fun Filled Weekend!

Ram Trucks is back to sponsor the 4th annual ACM Party For A Cause taking place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds April 1-3, 2016.

In addition to hosting the Ram Trucks Main Stage, Ram will also present the annual fan-favorite activation, Ram Ride & Drive Test Track, where professional drivers guide attendees through a course of various on- and off-road obstacles and capability challenges including a hill climb providing riders the best view of the PFAC landscape.

Participants of the ride and drive will have an opportunity to win main stage VIP truck bed seats to see their favorite artists perform live at the festival and have the opportunity to meet country music artists making appearances at the Ram Ride & Drive throughout the weekend. The Raminator Monster Truck Team will entertain attendees with car crushing demos, photo opportunities and autographs.

I can tell you first hand, that Party For A Cause is an amazing opportunity to listen to a ton of great music and meet a lot of artists. In previous years, artists like Thompson Square (above) and The Henningsens (below) have been a part of the Ram Truck Sponsored autograph singings.

The Country Music Awards are celebrating their 50th Annual CMA Awards this November and to celebrate they are bringing out all kinds of videos and interviews to get everyone excited about the big milestone!

In their CMA Awards 50/50: Dynamic Duos (2000s): Florida Georgia Line and Thompson Square reminisce on what it was like to win their very first CMA Award for Vocal Duo Of The Year.

Shawna Thompson remembers:

“First of all I was like ‘did they really just say our name’ because I don’t want to stand up if they didn’t say our name and look like I’m crazy or something.”

Florida Georgia Line never takes the wins for granted and says it means so much just to know they were voted to win and considered the best in that category.

February 25- The birthday of 1/2 of the beloved duo Thompson Square, Shawna Thompson. Shawna has a voice of an angel and also the power to make ballads truly stand out. Shawna and her husband Keifer (the other half of Thompson Square) recently welcomed a baby boy. He just turned 1 month old yesterday!

The duo is currently taking some time off while they enjoy parenthood and will be back later this year with new music! Stay tuned and for now enjoy one of their hit songs inspired by Shawna’s father.
